Bridal FAQ
Do you travel to the wedding location?
Yes, I am a mobile bridal artist and travel to your location to ensure a relaxed and seamless wedding morning. Travel fees may apply depending on distance and start time.
Do I need to book a bridal trial?
A bridal trial is highly recommended before securing your wedding booking. This allows us to collaborate on your desired look, tailor it to suit your features and styling, and ensure you feel confident and comfortable before your wedding day.
When should I book my bridal trial?
Most brides book their trial 2–4 months before their wedding date. Ideally, your trial should be scheduled after your dress has been chosen so we can create a cohesive overall bridal look.
How long does each service take?
Bridal services typically require:
-
Bride: Approximately 2–2.5 hours
-
Bridal party: Approximately 45–60 minutes per person
A detailed timeline will be created to ensure the morning runs smoothly.
Do you provide hair services as well?
Yes, I offer both hair styling and makeup services. This allows for a cohesive and streamlined experience on your wedding day.
Do you provide services for bridal parties?
Yes, I provide services for bridesmaids, mothers, and other family members. Larger bookings may require an assistant artist to ensure timing runs smoothly.
How do I secure my wedding date?
A signed agreement and non-refundable booking fee are required to secure your wedding date. Dates are not held without a booking fee as availability is limited and bookings are taken on a first come, first served basis.
When is the final balance due?
The remaining balance is due prior to the wedding date as outlined in your invoice or contract.
What products do you use?
I use a curated kit of professional, high-quality and luxury makeup products selected for their longevity, performance, and photography-friendly finish.
How should I prepare for my bridal trial?
For best results, please:
-
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin
-
Wear a white or light-coloured top
-
Bring inspiration photos
-
Bring hair accessories or veil if available
-
Maintain your regular skincare routine and stay hydrated
How should I prepare for the wedding day?
-
Ensure hair is clean and fully dried unless advised otherwise
-
Wear a button-up or robe to avoid disturbing hair and makeup
-
Have inspiration photos ready
-
Ensure all members receiving services are present at their scheduled time
Can I make changes to my booking?
Service numbers and details can be adjusted up until the final confirmation period (usually 4 weeks before the wedding). After this time, changes may not be guaranteed.
Do you stay for touch-ups or second looks?
Touch-up services and second looks can be added upon request and are subject to availability.
What happens if someone is late?
Late arrivals may reduce service time or result in cancellation of that service to avoid delays to the wedding timeline.
